How Things Work At Olivia Place
1. When are new deals available?

Deals are offered 7 days a week (with 1 deal running Saturday through Monday). On all days except Friday, the deals will start at 9 am Central Time.

Occasionally, we will offer special bonus deals! These bonus deals won't come along at 9 am, so you have to stay in touch with us - sign up for our newsletter, get our RSS feed, get updates on Twitter or "like" Olivia Place on Facebook! (Better yet, do all four!)

2. Why do you only offer one deal at a time?

Great question. We have been working really hard with our vendors to secure great deals for you; and for the incredible price we are offering, we want to be able to showcase one specific manufacturer. This might be a manufacturer that you know and love, or one that is new to you. Our goal is to bring you deals every day that are 30-80% off retail prices.

3. What sort of things are you offering at Olivia Place?

Our slogan is "Daily Deals for Mommies and More." The "more" means we will be focusing on deals of all sorts for babies, toddlers and little kids, as well as for women of all ages. Our main focus right now is babies/toddlers, but we have plans to make Olivia Place a very unique daily deal shopping experience. Based on feedback we have gotten so far on the items we will offer, even people that aren't mommies love what we plan to offer!

4. The deal I wanted is sold out. Is it really sold out?

Yes, that is more than likely true. Periodically we will find stray deals in our warehouse. Or maybe we discover that Olivia herself snuck off with one of the deals and we will put it back as a bonus deal (we will make sure there are no teeth marks or baby drool on the packages).

5. I have a question - can I call you?

Here at Olivia Place we prefer email. We all have families and lots of crazy things going on besides finding you great deals. We would hate to have you call when we are in the middle of a deep discussion with one of our children about the meaning of life - how professional would that be? Contact us by email and we will get back to you ASAP. Promise.

6. I want to suggest new products to Olivia Place - how do I do that?

We love getting suggestions from our customers!!! If there is something you want us to offer at Olivia Place, please email your suggestions to info@oliviaplace.com or write a post on our Facebook page and we will do everything we can to get it for you!

7. So is Olivia Place named after someone?

Actually there is an Olivia! She was born in 2009 and loves deals. She personally tests out a lot of the products we feature on the site - be it a cloth diaper, cute onesie, diaper changing pad, fancy shoes or toy. We have seen her eyeing the purses and bags, too, for when she is older. Right now she is concentrating on rolling and getting teeth. You might even occasionally see her sporting a deal. If it is a bigger kid deal, she might turn things over to her big brother to try out.

8. There are other deal of the day sites out there - how is Olivia Place different?

Trust us; we love great deals, too. Olivia Place searches high and low for the best deals we can get for you. Promise. Olivia herself will attest to that. We also believe in giving back. A portion of Olivia Place's net profits are donated to a charity dedicated to helping babies and mommies.

9. Do you ship internationally?

Right now we ship to the US and Canada. We are looking into other countries. There can be lots of extra costs and logistics attached to shipping internationally. But we love you international folks too, so we are looking for ways to make this happen - if you have suggestions, let us know. Stay tuned.

10. Do you offer pick up?

On 95% of our deals, we do offer pick up at our warehouse (and doesn't that make the deal sweeter? - no shipping charge). If you live in the Dallas area, you are welcome to stop at our warehouse in Carrollton, TX to pick up your orders. 
When you are checking out, select the pick up option (SCORE NO SHIPPING CHARGE) - to pick up your item. Please note there are times when we have some items ship directly from the manufacturer and you will not be able to pick up your orders so please do not choose that option if the deal states no local pick up.  (No worries, we will remind you on the day of the deal about this along with a note that pick up is not an option for that day's deal)

          11. How do I pick up my order?

Please note we will contact you by email when your order is ready for pick up. Pick up is currently available on non-holiday Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY between 10 am and 2 pm. When things start to get busier, we will offer more days for pick up. The Olivia Place warehouse is located at: Olivia Place c/o IBS, 1605 Crescent Circle, Suite 180, Carrollton, TX 75006. Ring the buzzer on the door (push hard) and someone will let you in so you can get your sweet order! Bring a copy of your order with you to pick up so we can make sure you get the right order.

          12. How long before I get my order?

          Orders usually ship out 2-3 days after the deal ends, but some items will take up to 7 days to ship. We ship as    economically as possible, so shipping times may be longer than you expect. All orders to Canada up to 4 lbs are shipped via first class mail and can take up to 5 weeks.


         13. Taxes, what about taxes?
The good news is if you do not live in TX, you will not be charged sales tax. But for Texans, you know what that means.  Yes we have to charge tax.  It is the law and we like to be on the right side of it.

          13. Can I return something?
Due to the tremendous discounts we offer, we cannot accept exchanges or returns. Thank you!
